If skiing is your thing, then Lapland also offers you many opportunities to go both downhill skiing and cross country skiing. Snowboarders will love the region too. Many ski resorts operate in Lapland and provide slopes that are suitable for anyone, from beginner skiers to professionals.
During the summer, visitors to Lapland often engage in hiking. This will give you the opportunity to see the blossoming nature of Lapland in its full beauty. There are many routes and trails that you can take which vary in degrees of difficulty. Remember to enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds you! You can also go camping in one of the national parks, which feature well maintained camping grounds and spots for campfires. It is also possible to book a cabin if you wish to stay overnight but don’t want to sleep outside in a tent.
